VTF Mechanical Services FZE provides specialized Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) services in the UAE for marine, industrial and oil & gas applications. Our PHE services include dismantling, cleaning, inspection, re-gasketing, plate replacement, assembly, testing and installation. We provide both in-situ and offsite heat exchanger services, supported by a dedicated workshop in Dubai Maritime City.
A Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) is a compact heat-transfer system used to transfer heat between two fluids without allowing the fluids to mix.
A PHE consists of a series of specially arranged metal plates assembled into a plate pack. The plates create separate channels for the fluids, allowing heat to move from one fluid to the other through the metal plates.
PHEs are widely used where efficient heat transfer, compact equipment size and easy maintenance are important. They are commonly used for cooling and heating duties involving seawater, freshwater, oil and other process fluids.
During operation, PHE plates can accumulate oil, scale, deposits, fouling and other contaminants. Gaskets can also deteriorate over time, while plates may become damaged or unsuitable for continued service.
These conditions can affect heat-transfer performance, sealing and equipment reliability.
Regular PHE maintenance helps identify problems early and allows the plate pack, plates and gaskets to be cleaned, inspected and restored as required.
VTF Mechanical Services provides complete PHE maintenance from dismantling through inspection, repair, assembly and testing.
Our service can be carried out in-situ at the customer's location or offsite at our Dubai workshop, depending on the equipment and project requirements. VTF's documented heat exchanger capability covers PHE supply, service, fabrication and repairs.
Every project at VTF goes through the same clear structure.
So we work quickly, precisely and completely
transparently, from intake to completion.
Thorough visual and technical inspection to determine contamination and recommend the right service approach.
Ultrasonic, chemical, or mechanical cleaning removes oil, scale, and deposits from the plates.
Fluorescent penetrant testing under UV light identifies cracks and defects before reassembly.
New gaskets are fitted to OEM specifications and the plate pack is carefully reassembled.
The heat exchanger is pressurized under test pressure to ensure complete leak tightness.
A clear service report is provided along with transportation and reinstallation support.
ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certified. A 30+ strong technical team available to mobilize within 24 hours. Consistently ranked among the top 3 performing vendors at Drydocks World. 100+ vessels serviced.
Projects completed on schedule,every time
Long-term partnerships built on consistant, reliable service
up to 30% more efficiency after service
up to 25% more years of use
